I Am Legend 2
2013

I Am Legend 2 is a prequel to 2007′s post apocalyptic vampire film starring Will Smith. It has been bumped to a 2013 release. Or is the new I Am Legend a sequel?.
The prequel will reportedly follow Robert Neville (Smith) during the outbreak of the plague that turns most of the world’s population infected with the vampiric disease. However, this isn’t set in stone yet. Other reports have I Am Legend 2 taking place in the safe zone, with the community trying to find a cure for ‘The Infected’.
Any way release date I believe to be is late 2012 early 2013.

Harry Potter and The Deathly Harrows Part 2

Finally! Is this the end for the Harry Potter series no its the epic finale, I don't know if epic finale really fits until   I see this one.  Mind you I'm not a Harry Potter fan and sort of drifted to an almost sub-concious state through the prequels and now find myself having to rush back to a Harry Potter DVD collection to enable me to see this final instalment on the big screen.  When I went to see 'Super 8' I seen this trailer in the Imax London and thought 'I have to see it' so there we are.  Apparently no one is safe and the stakes have never been higher for the saviour 'Harry Potter' soon Superman will be made unemployed.  But now is the time for Harry to face evil arch-enemy Lord Voldemort who often sits in board meetings with Lord Sugar.  Like most film summary's out there saying the same thing 'It all ends here' or as Lord Sugar says 'Your Fired'.

The Guard

The Guard is a foul-mouthed and violent comedy based and set in the west of Ireland.  It takes on a buddy cop formula similar to the film 'Hot Fuzz' and it stars Brendan Gleeson whom is meant to be hilarious in this film, not sure how much credit he is due yet but will soon find out if the actor and script are up to scratch.  But  I am well looking forward to seeing this film and if the trailer is anything to go by it will be a blast.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes

An Origin story set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiment with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.  Well I have to say it's almost like living at home again... But yeah will be watching this one today and will give you further information in the 'Critical View' tab later.  I'm guessing but this is probably best watched on the big screen and maybe if your lucky a curry afterwards to talk it over.  Everything will be OK as long as loved ones don't imitate the fiery beasts if the hoovering ain't done.

The Inbetweeners Movie

Well this is right up there for funny gags from the boys from the TV series.  This comedy will be side-splitting, crude, rude and almost true to life.  The four socially troublesome teenagers head off to party land Crete for much anticipated fun in the sun but realise there pitfalls in pulling women, drinking and socially being accepted into this party atmosphere, well it is there first boys trip abroad.  This will appeal to any fan of the series as the characters remain the same but let loose in this movie to cause more mayhem than before.  Go see it.

Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes

Just seen this prequel to the 'Planet Of The Apes' and have got to say well worth the Cinema ticket stump.  Mind you the best acting award in this film has to go to 'Caesar' the Chimp.  Although the film, effects and direction of this movie were fluid and entertaining from start to finish, the acting lacked script but not important for a movie of this genre.  Caesar the chimp was a science lab offspring that was carrying a viral gene that has momentarily a possible cure for Alzheimer's disease.  But the chimp and his buddy's end up getting smarter and evolution takes hold within a blink of an eye.  So now is not the time to say "here chimp chimp, get back on your lead".

Super 8

Well what a disappointing but average film.  Steven Spielberg keeps putting his name to almost every new film that comes out lately.  Well don't be fooled by who the the Producer or Co-Producer is, because like this film they are only throwing ideas of nostalgic content into a salad bowl and tossing it on a plate.  The First 30 Minutes were interesting and main highlight is shown in this official trailer which happens at the start of this well anticipated but over optimistic film.  There was nothing super about this film, storyline all over the place that does not run fluidly throughout.

Bridesmaids

Yes! They done it a chick-flick that the both of us can watch, well not much of a chick-flick but a hilarious refreshing comedy that just happens to have bridesmaids in it.  Although the film should be called 'Maid of Honours Fight to the Death...This film made us laugh from start to finish but diminishing towards the end.  The other bridesmaids are sort of sidelined in this film apart from one other crazed but funny bridesmaid for whom steal's the lime light, which was not a bad thing at all.

1980's Horrors Return In 3D

I want to know your opinion on this because I think its a shame to have such great new advances in techs regarding Digital screens in cinemas, great Surround Sound and now 3D.  We have the key ingredient's for a film  extravaganza if only we had a good film to take advantage of it.  We are missing a mixture of script, acting and effects when it comes to these techs.  I remember when films used to make you jump, think, turn away and on the other side of the scale smile, amaze and impress.  The days I'm talking about are from the Eighties, with titles such as E.T, Starwars, and the Goonies and so on... Oh big mistake one of the Films mentioned are from the late 70's well anyway you catch my drift, these films were beyond there time and remastered On the Big Screens with 3D and the rest of the techs would be brilliant.  OK its not just the soft PG films I think that should get the big Tech polish, I also think films such as Flatliners, poltergeist and Hell Raiser, all could do with some remastered 3D magic.  It would shit us up more than the first time we sat behind our cushions on the sofa.  Now that would be something to think about.
